WHEEL FORCE GO!

Introducing Wheel Force Go!, a hilariously dark coming-of-age story about replaceable heroes and their attempts to prolong (or at least survive) their adolescence.

Wheel Force Go! is a feature-length comedy that follows a team of teenage heroes who ride kick scooters into battle and fight low-budget kaiju monsters. Through the power of friendship, this team of misfits is able to summon a giant wagon wheel that shoots lasers to destroy their foes.

But soon, the pressures of young-adulthood prevent these friends from powering up. And the monsters of the week start stacking up. And our heroes are faced with their very real and impossible-to-ignore mortality.

This is a movie for folks who are nostalgic for the days of VHS past, love to share some laughs with their friends and neighbors, and those of us who have never forgotten the power of friendship.

Wheel Force Go! was conceptualized during a 72-hour film competition at The Grand Cinema in Tacoma. Our creative team developed a proof-of-concept during the competition, originally titled Roller Rangers, and used that as the starting point for the feature film. This comedic short gives you an idea of the structure of the narrative, although, in the feature-length version, we build out the characters and plot in some pretty radical ways.
